  • This is a photograph of a Post Tension concrete deck before the first concrete pour located in China Basin in San Francisco California. This is what you can't see after the concrete has been poured. The PT cables are green the items that are grey near the middle top of the shot are conduit runs. There are specific areas on column lines that are heavily congested by groups or bundles of cables. These are the circumstances and the congested obstacles we have to deal with all the time at Digital Concrete Scanning Services. We find a safe place to drill for our clients.
  • Digital Concrete Scanning Services was asked x-ray a slab in San Francisco California for Andersen Bread Company for new plumbing penetrations for the new location. This slab was very congested with rebar and conduits. Rebar will need to be cut in multiple shots with the Engineers approval.
  • We were asked by Tutor Saliba to scan the concrete sections of the San Francisco Bay Bridge for the seismic retrofit on the SF side. This shot shows our team finding the post tension cables and reinforcement using GPR technology.
  • Here is a Department Of Energy site in Northern California where they were planning to add a new super computer site and needed to find all the utilities that are in the way for their hillside construction. We located all the electrical duct banks, communications, fiber and telecommunications duct banks, active and abandoned high pressure natural gas lines, high pressure water lines, storm and sewer lines active an abandoned. In the process of locating the utilities we also cleared them for geotechnical borings.
  • Using Thermal Cameras and GPR we located and marked up the radiant heat lines at a Church in San Francisco, CA. The Priests had been complaining about how cold this area of the Church was for the last 30 years and as the rest of the Church has radiant heat they thought there might be a chance that this area had it to. We found the missing manifold and turned the lines back on in that section for the priests. Even Digital Concrete Scanning Services can create miracles in your facility. Call 510-523-7226
